Welcome to the Dollhouse is a stark suburban comedy about eleven-year-old Dawn Wiener, a middle child in middle school in the middle of New Jersey. Evil and funny!

While you read this screenplay, you'll regret laughing at such a sad and tortured little girl. But then you'll say "Oh, what the hell..." and laugh some more. This is a comedy, and it's supposed to make you laugh. For people who like black comedies.

On of the funniest scripts I've ever read. Todd Solondz's script is bleak, and will probably offend most. It takes a certain kind of taste to enjoy.
